My name is Claire, and I am the owner of Max Power Hairdressing. I have two beautiful children, a son and daughter, with my soulmate of a husband. We moved to Connolly in 2014 after renovating our now dream house. During the reno’s we built a custom-made salon with two client stations and a built-in basin perfect for all your hairdressing needs.
I have been Hairdressing for almost 20 years and I really love my job. My favourite part of my job is connecting with new and existing clients, sharing life experiences, and the challenges and wins we have had. It is wonderful knowing that I have made your day when you leave Max Power Hairdressing feeling confident, sassy and loved.
Colouring is a real passion for me. I especially excel in creating low maintenance easy care colouring that looks amazing but doesn’t cost the earth. Let’s face it currently we are all short of time and want to look glamorous with as little effort as possible. I will tailor your style to meet your specific needs of hairstyling prowess and lifestyle.
Healthy hair is a big passion of mine. When discussing a colour or style change, I believe it is important to treat my client’s hair like it is my own. Therefore, I would never recommend you undergo a service that is going to affect the integrity of your hair. I always use quality professional products in my salon maintaining my moto of “Maximum Service, Reasonable Price”. I am qualified in all aspects of hairdressing, but unfortunately do not have the resources to perm or set ladies hair.
A bug bare I had when working in a retail salon was that we were forever leaving clients to answer the phone. You are paying for my time and attention; therefore, I won’t answer the phone when I am with a client. If I am unavailable to answer the phone, please leave a message on my machine with your name and number and I will get back to you ASAP. Please keep in mind business hours when phoning for appointments, just because I work from home doesn’t mean I am always at work ;)
